How far back should medical issues be relevant to purchasing insurance. Is a medical issue, that was cured almost ten years ago something that should affect coverage for a healthy active indivual today. This issue was not drug related, or cancer, or an accident, it was caused by an infection and has had no reoccurance. From a medical stand point, the person is no more likely then anyone else to get this again.
Because this infection is rare, and since the advent of penicillin, almost unheard of it, seems to be an issue for coverage, why? Doctors have given this 33 year old, person a complete bill of health. This person is in fact very physically fit. Why the high quotes?
